Mysteries Of The Moat House - Friday 15th January 2010

This Grade 2 listed building situatated in the town of Tamworth was built in 1572 by William Comberford as a family home and it sits on the banks of the River Tame.
William Comberford was a well know and respected man and often held parties with the likes of Dorothey Beaumont (The Grey Lady that haunts Dudley Castle), King Charles 1st also stayed in the property in August 1619. In 1815 the Moat House was labeled by Dr Robert Woody as a lunatic asylum.  One of the most witnessed ghosts of this building is that of a small child called Emily.

 



The event starts at 8pm with a ghost walk around some of Tamworths paranormal hot spots and then returning to The Moat House for a Two course meal with entertainment followed by the nights investigation and vigils.

The night ends at 3am with a round up of the nights activities.
